What was the highlight of Hotel Globo Portimão
Explore Algarve or lie on the beach
Everything. The four car train rolling across the rio Arade, the breakfast buffet, the staff alert and proficient when you need them, three blocks to tourist central - five to laundry and fruteria. The hotel is business style, so, clean and useful. Absolutely everything worked.
Nada. Okay, the walk from the bus station was 20 minutes and poorly signed, until I was rescued by the large 'Hotel Globo' sign.

up to a fair standard but will not go again because of breakfast illness also no balconys
after a couple off days taking breakfast i had to go to the toilet a lot.....did not go for breakfast for a couple off days and recovered..went for breakfast again and then ill again......went in again when recovered did not take the coffee ,which was from a machine and did not take the fruit juice also from a machine and no further upset.......either coffee or fruit juice at fault
There are no room balconys in this hotel ..it was a small room so needed a balcony

2 minutes walk to the water front. Stunning panoramic views from the restaurant where breakfast served. Wide range of buffet breakfast choices . Room simply furnished and clean . Very comfortable bed.

It was very reasonably priced - the website p description make it seem more upmarket than
Good price , central to old town nr shops and restaurants , room was clean . Good variety of breakfast.
It was a bit worn generally - needs some renovating - slow old lift - shower old - bathroom sink plug not functional and an intermittent smell of bad drainage in the room .
